Yeah, the mistake has been corrected... Here's what the seller replied to my message asking him about it:

"Woah! Ha, yea that's a mistake. It should be $2,599. Looks like someone accidentally missed a decimal place and put too many 9. Thanks for letting me know. I updated the listing.

Best regards,

Andy Kuzmin."

Case closed. I still don't think it's worth even that. Like EricK has noticed, it's not in mint condition...

I took the plunge! Just placed an order for a walnut electric blue. :D

Choosing the light colour was the hardest - I sort of realised I don't really like any of them that much. Maybe I should've got a performer...? But at least this way I'm getting the discount and I know it'll be a new item with full warranty. Was looking at gumtree listings but all the sellers were just really flaky, not getting back to me, not accepting paypal, one word answers to emails. Not that reassuring.

[FYI it worked out at about £375 off the list price for a new EB in the UK - DM me if you want to know where from, not everywhere offered the same price.]

Anyway, just wanted to share that I'm now a couple of months away from being a Voyager owner. Woo! :)

Congratulations! Welcome to the club! Im glad you don't have to bother with the hardware upgrades.

I wanted the mahogany cabinet, but went with the Ash because it was in stock at the time. I went with Lunar because I thought it was the easiest on the eyes.

The lighting is only slated to last 1000 hours. I wonder if the frequency of light emitted would make any difference.

4 weeks since I placed my order. Time has slowed down! :)

Anyone got insider info on how long the new Selects are taking to ship? I'm expecting 6-8 weeks. Guessing it might be longer if there's been a rush on them cos of the offer....
