Recording from ipad to ipad

I would like to record animoog from my ipad3 into an app running on my ipad 1. I know Audiobus release is around the corner, but it is still vaporware until it is released. Any advice on what hardware is needed to connect the 2 ipads and also what recording app would work for recording purposes. Thanks.

Using the the camera connection kit and a USB sound card like the SIIG SoundWave (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OO ... _details_o) I am able to record animoog from my iPhone into BeatMaker 2 on my iPad. I assume it work the same from iPad to iPad.
