I would guess the same year as the thread title, 1977, the year Norlin began making the Minimoog again. (Minimoog 2?)
Here is a similar price list from a 1977 PMI catalog. All the list prices are the same, although the PMI sale prices are much higher.
1977 PMI price list for Moogs,ARP and Oberheim
Those stringers were so expensive back then, and every well rounded keyboardist "needed" one. If you adjust for inflation converting 1977 dollars into 2012, the barigin price of $3195 for that Polymoog equals $12,079. Would you pay 12 grand for a Polymoog? You did if you played back in 1977. Good times we live in now where these synthesizers were never so affordable. The ARP Omni is a killer though, with a price tag of $1795 it sold for more than an Odyssey, and between the Omni and Omni 2, was ARPs best seller. That's $6,786.17 in 2012 dollars.
Here is a CPI inflation calculaton if you want to plug in some other ammounts.

And PMI had the same payment policy, bankers check or money order. That was the norm back in 1977. Credit cards were not as widely accepted. It was a risk dealing with mail order, you got a great discount, but if it broke no service at all. You got what you paid for.
Back to the title of the thread the 1977 Minimoog. I remember the first time I stepped into a music shop and was shown the new Norlin Minimoog. You have to remember, they stopped making Minimoogs back in 1975. That was it, they were done making them. I don't think anyone thought that they would ever make them again, or why they would. There must have been a large demand when the music shops sold out of the remaining stock. I got to play one in the spring of 1978 and found it to be really different from the earlier models. First it looked strange, the wood was thicker, less finished and built different. Then there were those plastic serrated wheels, never seen these before. Did not respond the same as the thinner plexi wheels. But the sound was clearly brighter, almost buzzier sounding. So there must have been some revision changes to the circuits. After all, this was built in 1977, so the 1973 parts on my Mini were not that aged being only 4 years older. These were built in a completly different factory in Cheektowaga. I own both and can't say I prefer one over the other, but I did put the plexi wheels on my 10,XXX series Mini. So there was a Minimoog 2, and looking back, it's kind of amazing that Moog/Norlin was able to pull it off and sell so many. Glad they did not try a Model E and change what was a near perfect combination. They ended up selling another 6000 units, smart move!
