POLL: Which Mooger would you "double up" on?
Re: POLL: Which Mooger would you "double up" on?
I had two 104Zs, serial #300-ish and serial #2000-ish. I sold the earlier one because it sounded darker, even with the filtering trimmer maxed out. I may sell my 104Z if/when the 104M ever gets in stock at Sweetwater, but I want to keep the 104Z until I get the 104M just to compare and see which I like better (if there's any difference).

I'd probably want 2 MF-104Ms, since you could in theory, do stereo delays, or have one that does long delays, and the other short ones.
2 MF-108s could be one for flang, and the other chorus.
2 MF-107s would just give you 2 different oscillators to choose from, but man, that would really be fun.
2 MF-105Ms I am sure you could have some really interesting filter sweeps that you could either do in stereo, or perhaps chain 2 for mono, but run it with some sort of analogue sequencer, and then you'd really have some interesting filter motion action.
2 MF-103s Huh, honestly, don't know for sure, since I never played these too much, but if I ever pick one up, I'm sure there's something you could do with 2.
2 MF-102s can of course do ring mod sounds in stereo, or maybe you can choose to run both as mono sources, but have one switched to different waveforms, and then your source (Guitar/vocals/Moog synths) could reaaalllly sound interesting.
2 MF-101s, well, I guess you could have one lpf with lots of resonance, and the other with hardly any.
I don't even want to know what it would cost to double all moogerfoogers, but I can say, it'd be awesome to have such a collection.
