If I understand correctly, 5000 Satellites were produced, but does anyone know how many Minitmoogs were made? Trying to figure out just how rare the Minitmoog really is.

I think only a couple hundred minitmoogs were made, they were in production for only a year. Many if not all of them had a fault in the aftertouch sensor in that the polymer element deteriorated.
Not a very desirable instrument unless you want one of everything for your moog collection.

Such a rarity that it's worth owning a Minitmoog as a collectible. And, hey, at least it has 2 VCOs, unlike the Satellite.
