T3 Hi-Z output noise

Post by xsubs » Mon Jun 18, 2012 4:15 pm

I notice that my Hi-Z output is very noisy. So I'm using the Low-Z to my amp, an old Hiwatt DR103, as it is dead quiet. Any issue with doing this due to impedance differences?
Anybody else notice this on your T3? Maybe I have a problem...

I have that problem. When I rec'd the T3 I posted about it, nobody else seemed to have the problem... maybe serial # related, maybe a faulty ground or something not put together well; obviously too large to have shipped back to Moog.

It's not terrible but it is annoying.
