I like the longing and lusting as much as the holding-in-hand part.
Because that’s when I get inventive and do something that nobody else is doing. Which is when anyone comes up with new ideas - including everyone working at Moog today.
There’s imagination out there and I prefer that to curating a museum of old dusty instruments with decaying bits ![]()
I like the dreaming of the new, and I think that’s what we need more of: new breakthrough instrument designs. Which is what the original Moog stuff was.
Breakthrough, but also so darn practical. It just made sense when you put your hands on a Minimoog.
