XV-351 and Voyager LFO problem?

During a late night recording session last night I noticed something going on with my Voyager. The LFO seemed not to function on the synthesizer. I quickly tried a few things last night. Changing programs and in chanmging LFO shapes, destinations. The LED for the LFO remained lit, and when I changed the speed, the change appeares on the screen, but nithing is happening internal.

So instead of freaking out last night I decide to sleep. :sunglasses:

After cleaning up and stuff this morning I decide to power up my Voyager and see what happens. It is doing the exact same thing, so I am like WTF!!??

During my trouble shooting, I unscrew the 351 from the back of the Voyager, and the LFO begins to work. (nothing at all is patched on the 351) Everything functions fine. I plug the 351 back in and the LFO quits. I do this a couple of times, and a few times the LFO works with the 351 plugged in. (just like it should) So then… I patch a cable FROM a CP-251 into an Attenuator INPUT on the 351, and the LFO stops. I unplug it, the LFO starts again.

Does anyone know what is happening?

Seems kind of weird.

I hope I explained what is happening well, but feel free to ask any questions or anything.

Thanks and have a good weekend.

I have played my Voyager for a few hours this afternoon, and everything seems perfect. I am even using the 251 S+H to control LFO speed on the Voyager. (something I tried before, and there was no LFO)

What an awasome machine.

Anything that fixes itself is good. Maybe consider bolting it to the floor so nothing loose gets bumped.

You know, tthe XV was as far away as the cable would allow. I mean the cable was tight.

I pulleed it an inch closer so the cable has a little slack in it. Maybe that has something to do with it.

We should all be so lucky to have an XV on a pulley

Anyway, the slack could have everything to do with it. Maybe get a longer cable or extension?
