writing 14 bit filter data

Hey all, I’m trying to figure out how to write 14 bit MIDI data to automate filter sweeps in my SP.

Easy enough to write automation for CC51 or CC19 only, but has anyone got it set up to do both?

I’m in protools, but maybe the method would be applicable from other DAWs?

So far I’m just using the MSB, but I wonder if it might be smoother using both… I just cant quite wrap my head around how to do that.
