Wooden Knobs for Moding Etherwave Plus Panel?

I have a Walnut Case for my Etherwave Standard, and was wondering if anyone knows what size control knobs fit the new Plus pot shafts, on the updated front panel?

I’d love to be able to replace the plastic knobs with wooden knobs in Walnut or Ebony. I think it could look really nice… For example:

Anyone have any ideas what knob type / size range, would be compatible? I’d hate to buy a bunch of knobs, and find they don’t fit the shafts, etc. Thanks.

You might have to fashion your own…which could be easy if you had the tools. It WOULD look gret to have some totally wooden versions of the plastic pots.

Of course, wood knobs CAN be drilled, cut, and otherwise modded to fit. If the hole is too big, wood filler can be used, and no one would know except you.

This guy will make awesome custom Wooden Control Knobs to order…

I just need enough info on the Plus’s Knob sizes & Shaft Type, so they’ll be correct-- without having to fiddle about.

That’s cool! :open_mouth: Reasonable pricing as well! :astonished:

Amos was VERY fast at responding to my question via E-mail. I wanted to repost it here so others could benefit from the info, if they wanted to do the same thing:

Our knobs fit a round shaft (secured with a set screw)
I measure the inside diameter of the knob shaft collar at 0.25 inches (6.35mm)

The knob is 24.3mm (0.96 inch) diameter, fluted, with a 1.075in / 26.67mm dia. skirt at the base.

Hope this helps,

Amos
