I kind of wish Bob Moog was alive. And if you knew anything about him youd know that he had a sence of humor.

You might find people are friendly here if you wait until after 2 posts to start lashing out at members and trying to invoke Bob Moog’s memory in the same sentence.

i just received a few email to my website mail. strange hi, the real vincent gallo here. not sure who posted the wanted post. i did in fact need a set of polymoog legs and was looking for a few months but successfully found a set. the poster seems to have copied a bit of my style in his writing though I would have found erik’s post funny and responded differently. for the record though, I did know bob moog and very well. I grew up just blocks away from the company and purchased a taurus directly from him (50% off). i recall he was very quiet and not too funny but that is besides the point. With that said, does anyone know a good source for 1/8” mono patch cables. need some extras for my buchla 100.

Anyway, as far as cables go, if you’re in the U.S., Radio Shack may have what you’re looking for. Or the Buchla site itself, as they still make modulars that use 1/8" cables, I think. I know of a local place that carries them, although they aren’t color coded.

Maybe try HOSA cables–I got a bunch of color-coded 1"4 monos for my modular.

I haven’t tried these but someone on Muff’s forum (http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2523&highlight=patch+cables) recommended them to someone else:

Both Big City Music (bigcitymusic.com) and Analogue Haven (analoguehaven.com) sell lots of 1.8" mono patch cables made specifically for synths. Variety of colors and sizes. I use 'em all the time with my arp2600 and they’re great.
