Wah Wah using Moogerfooger?

Just a quick question. Is it possible to generate a wah wah effect using any of the moogerfoogers in combination with an expression pedal?

Thanks

Andrew

From the KnobTweak FAQ Database:

Q: If I hook up an EP-2 Expression Pedal, can I use the MF101 LPF as a ‘wah-wah’ pedal?

A: Yes, in principle, but it won’t give quite the same effect as a genuine ‘wah’ pedal. The reason is that a ‘wah’ pedal is basically a band-pass filter, while the '101 is a low-pass filter. By setting the Resonance knob high, the '101 can exhibit a response that is similar to a bandpass filter, but not identical (low frequencies will still be present).

I’ve got a couple of tracks of bass with fuzz and MF-101 low-pass filter - both are being controlled by the CP-251 but you could do something similar with an expression pedal.

It would sound different without the fuzz, or on a different instrument of course.
