how do you use the mults on the vx? Are the horizontal jacks the input or output. Sorry if this is a dumb. I couldn’t find in the mmanual.
The mults (multiples) are simply four jacks wired together. For example, take an LFO signal and patch it into a mult - now you can route that LFO signal to three other inputs.
Note: Mults should never be used to combine CV signals (like the outputs from two LFOs). If you need to do this, you should use the Mixer in the CP-251.
If you need it, there’s a CP-251/VX-351 routing diagram posted on MoogSpace. You’ll also find several examples of Voyager routings there. Look for the CP-251/VX-351 page in Files/Documents, or go to:
It’s cool to use TS cables with the vx and my foogers right?
thanks
This question has been asked and answered many times in these forums. Here’s the gist:
You can freely mix & match TRS and regular 1/4’ patch cords with MoogerFoogers - they work fine. Note, however, if you plug a regular cord into a jack that provides power to an expression pedal, then none of the powered jacks can be used for expression pedals because you’ve shorted the power to all. The short poses no problem to either the Moogerfooger or the device plugged in and causes no harm, but is something to keep in mind if you find yourself wondering why your expression pedal suddenly no longer works in your 'Fooger.
Regarding the forums, don’t forget that you can search every post and read every response simply by clicking on the Search button and entering your search criteria. In fact, I just used it myself (search “TRS”) to assist in answering your question.

BTW, is the ‘Jamirokid’ name anyway associated with the band Jamiroquai?
