Not loading in Flstudio and Reaper says hardware disconnected
It might be helpful if you include the model and firmware version of the specific Phatty you’re talking about…
I m actually having even worse problems with the new editor / firmware than with the old one. As soon as I open my DAW (Sonar X2), the Sub Phatty seems to be connected, the editor works fine, the Local control is on, the filter open, but the sub phatty produces no sound whatsoever. I reset the global settings and I still have the same problem. The first time there was a drop out in audio and midi, when I touched an octave knob. Then nothing worked. I panicked and installed the new firmware again. Problem fixed, but as soon as I tried to work within my daw again, here it was again. Now there is even communication via the MIDI cable, meaning that note signals pass through, but no sound comes out - even if I exit the DAW and reopen the stand alone editor nothing seems to be wrong, except that the sound has stopped altogether. I have to disconnect the sub phatty from the USB port and switch it on and off to produce sound again. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Am I forgetting something obvious (please don’t say the master volume)?
Update on the editor: my problem has nothing to do with the DAW. Subphatty just stops playing even in connection with the stand alone. All I have to do is change a value (f.e. pitch wheel) while playing. It just stops?
5xxx series, and the latest firmware 2.03.
There’s this missing file that flstudio can’t find and the error comes up. In Reaper it says also
about the missing file but it works until i want to automate keyboard octave (pitch), then SP crashes. I reboot the SP and it works again.. the standalone works though.
