Greetings all. Posted my SOLAR for sale a few months back as my wife and I were buying a new home. Thankfully I came to my senses! 
Got the house AND kept the Voyager!!! There was much rejoicing. 
We are moving in next month. I am going to have a nice large space for my home studio. Problem is though it’s in the basement. I am already concerned about the effects of humidity on the Voyager. I’m told it’s a pretty dry space, even in the summer, by the current owners. And I will of course be getting a dehumidifier. So anybody else keeping their Voyagers below ground level? Will minor dampness effect it’s internals and tuning? Any advice is welcome. Thanks folks!

sure do! Forget to mention, the section of the basement I will be taking over is finished with sheetrock walls and ceiling.
I got banished to our cellar (basement) when the kids landed.
It has flooded a couple of times too (a few centimetres of water).
I run a de-humidifier and just keep everything well above floor level.
The Voyager’s been fine down there so far.
Looks like you are in NY so I’m guessing your basement has no central air but maybe has heat? First - get a cheap (Lowes/Target) humidity guage and put it in your studio so you can keep an eye on things. If the humidity is above 50% or so I would definitely get a dehumidifier and run it as often as needed. Most dehumidifiers can be equipped with a draingage hose and have built-in timers so you can have it run automatically and not have to worry about emptying the bucket every 8 hours! My guess is summer and during rainy times will be your worst time. My basement has central air/heat so essentially it’s no more humid than the rest of the house here in the South.
