Wow, SoundTower is still alive and kicking! Had hard to believe that when I contacted them a number of times for support. Moog finally helped me. Anyhow, this is great news! I’ll buy one!
Soundtower is not exactly known for their quality or customer support when you DO encounter any of several bugs in their software. I certainly won’t be giving them my business anytime soon…
I’m with Voltor on that assessment. I’ve been using the SoundTower editor for the Kurzweil PC3 series for the past three years. I’ve also been a beta tester for them. There are some MAJOR bugs in their software (make a change on one parameter and another one changes as well). This was reported a year ago on their bug report website and no communication or fixes for a whole year. Plus numerous smaller bugs that have not been addressed for 2 or 3 years running.
I would strongly encourage people to NOT buy their software unless there is a proven track record of no significant bugs for a given instrument.
I would get it if it were free. I wouldn’t pay $5 for it unless it worked. Then I’d probably pay what they’re asking.
