Voyager tips for new owner

I have Electric Blue VX-351 and CP-251 and are looking for tips to get the best out of this machine
Found these tips
take a patch cable and plug the right output into the mixer in jack. turn up the external in control on the mixer to taste until the red light comes on. this enables you to overdrive the mixer and filter for a more grimey sound.

-try out the different filter poles as you can get the voyager to do amazing arp and korg ms20 emulations. you can choose from 1 to 4 poles in the menu. they all give the filter a very different character.

  • switch the gate trigger switch to get the voyager to drone continuously

David, you didn’t mention if you own any Moogerfoogers (other than the CP-251), but be sure to check out the Voyager/Moogerfooger combo files on KT, too. You might just end up lusting for a few of these modules to add to your gear pile. :slight_smile:

I’d also suggest perusing the Voyager FAQ data base if you are a new user. Some good basic info can be found there.
