Voyager sync with MP1 and Logic

Hi guys

I am new here. I am beginning to work with a voyager. I need to get a perfect sync with my logic sessions ( bpm of every session ). I am beginning to use the MP 1 moog multipedal to do it. I am a guitar player with millios of doubts about the synths world.
I need some help to get a good sync.

For example, I love a preset sound called pulse bass. it is rithmic, so solid, really great. The tempo changes if you change the LFO RATE knob.

How can I do this sound fits with my session ?

How can I choose triplets or 1/4, or 1/8.

I have been studiyng the MP 1 manual and the Voyager manual and all I have got weird noises and weird patterns, no sync , no music.
Thank you very much and excuse me for my basic english. It is not my first language.

Hi,

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately ) the Voyager uses an analog LFO, so it can be reset to sync with a gate or MIDI clock but the actual speed can’t be synchronised.

You can generate sync’d LFOs on the MP-201 however, so you just need to work out what the LFO is modulating on the Voyager patch and replace it with the MP-201’s one.

Hope that helps.

there’s a synth world? Nobody told me! Seriously though: midi sync sucks. Takes away the creativity
