I have a voyager anniversary edition
my backlight is loud, I know the problem and solved with Voyager Upgrades but I read that does not work in versions like anniversary edition.
only way to disconnect the cable from the back lighting?

That seems to indeed be the case.
Yes, unfortunately. The connector is on the CPU board inside. Just follow the wires coming from the backlight panel. They are in a grey sleeve.
