i have an Eventide DSP7000 that has two inputs for CV controllers - i am using two Moog CV foot pedals. Presumably the eventide outputs some voltage to enable this.
my question is, can i route the foot pedals into the CP251 and then into the eventide - eg giving me controllable LFO sweeps on the CV into the eventide?
i am a bit nervous about trying this out as i have read something about not routing voltages together or something, so i thought i would ask for advice first.
I would say yes, you can use the pedals on your CP-251 and then into your Eventide. The Rate control on the LFO is still one of my favorite features on the CP, good call wanting to use that!
I wouldn’t recommend putting 2 CV signals into the mult without attenuating somehow before sending it out to the Eventide.
Side note: You will want to use the red (or the newer white outline) jacks on the CP for your pedal Input. Those give your pedal the power it needs to create the CV signal.
