Updatiing OS not working!

Hi all,

I am having a litle trouble with updating the voyager OS,

everytime i attempt to load the latest OS 3.2 on my PE voyager via mid-ox (sysex) software it stops halfway and says to try again,

also the voyager asks for bank A first when i read it should load bank B first.. any help is greatly apreciated!

also i havent got the 7 banks hardware upgrade

Increase the buffers in MidiOx. I had the same issue. With the Sysex window up go under Sysex and then to Configure. I can’t remember what buffer sizes I use. You might want to try a search on this forum for help, because this has come up before. If you can’t find it herer try the Square Wave Yahoo group.

Matt -

See if you can also slow the MIDI data transmission rate in MIDI-OX. Sometimes this makes a difference if the rate is too fast.

The update order is bank B, then A, then C. (I’ve never heard an explanation as to why the order is this way.)
