Okay, i have been struggling with the calibration instructions in the hotroding manual and there are a few things that just dont make sense to me in regards to tuning L6 and L5.
By ear I can tune this thing by ear to a pretty decent pitch range but the manual says i should try to get it so that the pitch does not jump when i release the antenna.. Been at it for hours, damn near impossible.
Was wondering if anybody has a SIMPLER calibartion procedure than what is in the hotrodding guide?
And better yet, if someone can clearly explain what the relationship between L6 and L5 are?
From reading the schematics it is pretty obvious that L5 is controlling the pitch antenna range and sensitivity, but what is L6 all about?
Also, why do they want you to bypass c28 during all this?
