Tremolo of the Dual VCA outputs

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Voyager so am a bit of a noob with it. I have a couple of shows coming up very soon that require tremolo and I would like to not have to use the VX-351 (patched to the VOL input) in order to achieve tremolo. I need to change patches pretty quickly during the songs and I can’t ‘un-patch’ the cable and re-patch that quickly.

Is there a way to create a preset that incorporates ‘defeatable’ tremolo? Anyone have some workarounds that are quick to execute?

BTW, I have the MP-201 pedal as well.

Next question: How about panning?

Thanks!

There is a patch that does panning, that is essentially how tremelo was achoeved on the Rhodes. It had two channels and two photo resistors. Left and right channel lightbulbs would light up alternatively and cut the volumes of each channel with the speed of the flashes.

You could always get a Ring Mod, that will give you tremelo. Maybe make a preset with your LFO routed to your master volume or something. I don’t have the time to actually look at the settings available or I certianly would.

There are also inexpensive tremelo pedals available.

Thanks for the input, Eric. I appreciate your having taken a stab at it.

However, I’d like to be clear that I’m looking for a way to keep it all contained in the Voyager for reasons of simplicity. I have a Roger Linn Adrenalinn that I can use for tremolo should I need to go that route, but I’d prefer not to do so.

Program the Mod buss destination to PANNING.

If you don’t want to sacrifice your mod buss, use the pedal BUS but you will be limited to the speed of your LFO.

If you don’t want to sacrifice your main LFO, then use Osc 3 as a source with the pedal bus destination set to Panning.

I think that this might work.

But, you know you want a ringmod. You know you do. You NEED one.
