I am using my taurus 3 for live performances, but as you all know how heavy it is (45kg with roadcase) I have started to trace different taurus owners in europe, so as to not having to bring my taurus from the us via plane (very expensive) i was lucky in scandinavia, and now have the pleasure of borrowing an original taurus 1 for a concert this sunday in Vienna, the problem is, how to figure out the settings on the taurus 1 for some of the presets i am using with the taurus 3,when there is very little time to spend with the instrument and i am switching quickly between presets live to loop atop of each other. I understand there are 4 basic settings on the taurus 1, has anyone every gone through the troubles of linking the sounds up -(settings i most use on taurus 3 are I1, J1, G3, F4) and please dont tell me to just get a minitaurus… any tip or help is much appreciated! xd
My advice would be to contact moog about this. Nobody better to ask than the designer/builders.

The Taurus 1 has three fixed presets and one variable. Without the T3 side by side with the T1 it isn’t going to be easy to perfectly translate sounds, and you only have one variable to dial custom sounds. Most T3 sounds can be replicated as long as they don’t use LFO or arpeggiator.
