The Volts Per Octaves

I am sure that you guys are aware of this group, but I have been listening to them quite a bit over the last few weeks. How do you guys like them? I am thinking that I need them to come play live in Utah

If you haven’t listened to them, the myspace is:

They wont come and play in Utah that quickly at the moment…check also this topic : http://www.moogmusic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=40028

oh damn! that sucks! at least they are all ok and were not caught in the midst of it. seems like i may have to take a road trip west to see them.

Nick used to post regularly on this forum before the LA fires. Really nice guy.

I wish he would come back and let us know he is okay, but I think getting their live rebuilt is more important than this forum lol.

Eric

Indeed. I’m sure he’s quite busy right now.

By the way I forgot to mention that I really love their music and they have inspired me a little.

Eric

They are one of my greatest influences, even though I haven’t known about them for very long. I discovered them maybe two years ago. Great band, even better people!

Wow. Thanks for all the kind words everyone..

We are doing good, just trying to get used to the pacific NW…

Damn its cold up here… We got moved in just in time to get snowed in… It was the biggest snow storm this area had in something like 75 years…

We are finishing up our new album ā€œVia Human Errorā€ and it should be out in March..

I am very proud of this album! It features collaborations with some of my fav musicians of all time..

Brian Kehew (Moog Cookbook) on Mellotron …
Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Air/Beck/Nin) on Bass
and BERNIE WORRELL (PFunk/Talking Heads) on Minimoog Model D !

I’ll keep you all posted…

Thanks again for your concern everyone.. We have been truly blessed and we are doing great (all things considered)

Thanks for stopping by.

Nick! Great to see you back here! Glad things are going smoothly for you. Look forward to the new album. Sounds like it’ll be absolutely killer! We got some serious snow here in Illinois, as well, we’re just more used to it than you. I, for one, will keep praying for you and your family, Nick!

Best of luck in every aspect of your life,
Voltor

Helluw Nick…

Good to hear that you are doing good…hopefully you are settled over there within no time (and yes…even over here in the Netherlands it can get very cold like today).

Also good to know that the new album is progressing well…i am very curious to hear the new tracks especially those with Bernie Worrel (no i am not jealous…hehehe…).

Keep us updated…

Glad to hear your doing well nick! The new album sounds like it will be amazing. That’s a pretty killer cast of charecters!

Just checked these guys out on myspace today. Good stuff.
