I have a Voyager and really had the hots to get a Phatty ARE, but they all went to a land down under. I got to thinking; is the back panel just a curved piece of aluminum? I could make my own custom. (Actually, I have friends who own aerospace companies with machine shops) Maybe anodized blue with white diagonal pinstripes that say Moog, anyone?

I had a post up here ages ago…you might have seen it, might not…in that post, I discussed having different color backs…a couple years after I made that post, they came out with the Sweetwater orange. Dunno if they liked my idea…but it would appear so. I mentioned that a camo back would look really cool. The back is indeed aluminum, maybe cast. Would be easy to modify with pinstripes, colors, patterns, etc. 
If you call moog they’ll sell you one, I called and found out that if I painted mine they would still honor my warranty, as long as I don’t do anything which damages the synth in the process, and also that they will sell them new, you may even be able to get one without paint.
