Have heard that I can hook up the pedals but can’t figure out how (don’t have the brain–just the pedals). Anyone tried this?

That’s easy. Connect the CV output of the pedal to the oscillator input of the Minimoog and the S-Trigger output to the S-Trigger input. You need a special cable for the S-Trigger (phone/Cinch).

Thanks. As you can tell from the questions, I’m new at this, but I was looking for Taurus pedals and, with the full IIs shooting up as high as they have been on ebay, it was a reasonable alternative to just get the pedals and to use the minimoog. For not a lot more money, I GOT A MINIMOOG FOR FREE. Well not quite, but the differential was small.
My research is showing me that the S-trigger connector is a bit hard to find. Any leads?

Thanks. They’re forecasting mid-July delivery.

Hello. Thanks RL for explaining how to control the Minimoog with the Taurus. Can anyone comment on how to control the Voyager with the Taurus II pedals. Thanks. -Jon
You can buy this connector at any Radio Shack, so as long as you’re in the US, it’s very easy to find.
email response from Rudi Linhard at Lintronics.de :
"You need two normal mono patch cords to connect the Taurus II pedal to the Voyager. Connect the c/v out of the pedal to the pitch input of the Voyager and the trigger out (v) to the ENV GATE jack.
To trigger the Voyager’s ENVs you have to switch the envelope gate switch to the ext/on position on the front panel of the Voyager. Make sure the sources of the filter/volume ENVs of the preset sound are routed to ENV GATE INPUT in the EDIT mode page 4.3 and 4.4 (software version 3.2).
This works on my Voyager.

Rudi

As far as I know, Radio Shack hasn’t stocked these connectors in many years.
I haven’t seen them in any retail store in over a decade and can’t locate them online at Radioshack.com
Cinch style connectors are made by many makers - Cinch, Molex, Burndy and others.
Most professional electronic outlets still carry them, but I can’t see any reason Radio Shack would even want to carry these connectors nowadays.
