I’m having some success sync my Matriarch’s sequencer to my DAW, but it doesn’t behave in a useful way or anything like I expect. Let me explain…
My DAW is sending MIDI Start/Stop and Clock to the Matriarch, which in turn is set to ARP or SEQ. I find I have to physically play and HOLD notes on the keyboard to trigger the ARP/SEQ. If I release my fingers from the keyboard, the ARP/SEQ stops. I’ve tried using the Matriarch’s HOLD button - when this is ON the lowest note played just repeats and the ARP or Sequence stops.
Another related issue - why doesn’t the prerecorded Sequence just start at the prerecorded pitch? This doesn’t happen regardless of the PLAY button being lit or not.
I’m very confused - the manual doesn’t really shed much light on this…
