Subsequent 37/CV Editors 1.0.0b5 are ready to test!

Hello beta group!

Following are two new editor versions for Subsequent 37 and Subsequent 37 CV, both are of version v1.0.0b5.

While Sub 37 Editor is not being discontinued, this version adds some improvements, such as VST3 support and newer JUCE. Note that any of these new editors can be used with either of the “37” hardware, so it would be helpful if Sub 37 users could also download, use and test them.

We also have a new Windows 8/10 driver v4.35.0, which solves known Windows 10 compatibility issues. Any Sub 37, Subsequent 37 or Subsequent 37 CV users should uninstall the existing v3.30.0 driver from their Windows 8 or 10, and download and install v4.35.0. Windows 7 users should still use the existing v2.23.0 driver for all 3 models.

I installed v1.0.0b5 on my macOS Sierra and I found the Editor shows version 1.0.0 and the VST shows 1.0.0b5, is this intentional?

Using Ableton Live, I am able to easily change the playing octaves from Push with the associated buttons, however when I do so on the Subsequent 37 channel, the octave doesn’t change. I wonder if I am doing something wrong…

Hey bichuelo,

Version says 1.0.0b5 everywhere here. Is it possible that you are using an older beta, or Sub 37 editor instead?

Indeed, it was the Sub 37 and not the Subsequent 37, which shows the correct version. That was my bad! :confused:

Have you tested the octave issue? I just tried again, this time both with AU as well as VST, and I can’t seem to make it work, it stays on the same octave no matter what…
