Subsequent 37 Cabling

I recently purchased a Subsequent 37 and am looking for the following information:
Is it correct that the line-level external audio input is unbalanced, mono, and can use either a TS or TRS cable?
Is it likewise correct that the line-level output is unbalanced, mono, and can use either a TS or TRS cable?
The User’s Manual says that the Volume CV and the Filter CV are both TRS. Is this also true of the Pitch CV and the KB
Gate?
Are the Voltage CV, Filter CV, Pit CV and KB Gate all balanced or unbalanced?
I would appreciate any guidance on this.
Thanks.

Just got a Subsequent37 and I have these same questions.

wondering this as well!

There is no such thing as balanced CV on synths. Balanced connections are sometimes used for better shielding (actually: interference will be cancelled out) of audio signal connections.

The Volume CV and the Filter CV are using a TRS socket. These socket got a CV in on the tip , +5V on the ring and ground on the shaft. The +5 V are needed for expression foot pedals.

As an expression foot pedal does not make sense in most applications for pitch and gate, these are plain TS sockets. You may use TRS cables to connect pitch and gate sockets, but you don’t get any advantage by doing so.

At the end of the manual:
AUDIO OUTPUT: 1xTS, 1xTRS Headphone

So the output is TS.
A TRS cable will work.
If your mixer or audio interface uses TS it will do no harm but no positiv effect.
If your mixer or audio interface got balanced inputs, it won’t give you a positiv effect either, if the source, here your synh, is unbalanced TS.

Turns out using the TRS cuts a huge amount of Hum from the sub!
