Honestly, the only thing wrong with this synth is that I can’t drag it into bed for a late night song-fest. Or slip it in my bag to work so I can while away my lunch break.
This synth has ruined all others for me, it’s definitely the knob per function, but I recently bought the microbrute and while I love the knob per function and sequencing, I really miss the awesome moog sound!
I really am considering re-housing it to my bedside table. Since all I do is work and sleep lately, this might increase my sub37 playtime!
Yeah I usually get suckered in to the small stuff for the convenience and apparent immediacy, but those things always have their limitations and I hit them quick.
I want it all! I can see those airplane tables on seat backs snapping if I tried to lay a sub37 on them, but wouldn’t it be cool? Flying with a sub 37 and nothing but time!
i hope you are not suggesting the Sub37 should act as a replacement in bed for the opposite gender? that would certainly be sexist. There is no room on this forum for sexist behaviour and i for one think this thread should be moved to the trash as a result of your insinuation.
What’s sexist is your assumption that one prefers the opposite gender in said scenario. Nothing else was sexist, but came across a bit crass like an angry child.
There was no ulterior motive to my thread, it’s true. I don’t get enough time with my sub 37. I’m sure I’m not alone in that. Months and months of saving and waiting, and the only real disappointment has been that I can’t spend much time with it, nowhere near as much as I’d like.
I’ve been using the microbrute to document ideas and sequences because it is that much more portable so it’s living on the floor in my bedroom at the moment.
But this is my first free weekend in a long time so I hope to make good use!
