Sub 37-Subsequent 37-Subsequent 37 CV

so what is the main difference between the Sub 37 and the Subsequent 37? I realize that the Subsequent 37 cv has CV outputs. the reason is I thought I was getting a sub 37 tribute and got a Subsequent 37. Did I get some upgrades that are on the Subsequent 37 CV like the better headroom and more multidrive?

I think there is no such thing as a non-CV Subsequent 37, is it?

There is. In customers’ hands even. And with a black panel. But nothing on the Moog site…

Very mysterious! Please talk to us, Moog!

Oh!!

I am under the impression the Subsequent 37 CV was a limited edition. I wonder if this is the standard edition that replaces it. I also wonder what folks are trying to order when they get this instead. If this doesn’t have CV outs, I’d hope it come at a lower price point than the ones with CV. Certainly people should be made aware they are getting a different model if stores are shipping these to people ordering CV models.

What store did you get this from? Large stores like Thomann or Guitar Center are sometimes able to order a batch of custom models build to their specs.

Or large stores are already stocking a model not yet announced and sent out the wrong box.

It’s not mine. Click the image for more pictures and to to trace the reference.

The mystery remains…

Mystery now solved!!

I wonder if some retailers were substituting this for out stock 37s or 37 CVs.

OK, so now everyone knows. I wasn’t able to continue with this post because the product was not released yet. I was indeed sent one before the release. I had ordered a tribute. I work for a dealer so I was asked to keep it on the DL until yesterday.

I wonder why they’ve chose to have the CV one as a limited 2000 run. I would be interested in upgrading to CV in the future but I would like it in the original design model, I’m sure there’s others who feel this way too?
