We have came across reports of users who have experienced total Sub 37 freezing. If you ever came across (or will come across) a similar problem please let us know about it, and try to describe the actions that have been taken before it happened.

This has happened to me on 3 different occasions, each time whilst gigging the S37 (happened again just last Saturday). It seems to happen when I simultaneously ride the filter, resonance and multidrive knobs clockwise. It may be possible that my left hand was also tweaking something in the MOD section (i.e. Pitch/Filter/Mod AMT) but in the heat of battle I don’t really remember). At which point the audio cuts out. Haven’t been able to reproduce it at home tho 
So far, toggling the power to the S37 resolved whatever got locked up. At gigs, the synth was powered up continually for about 4 hours.
for documentation sake here’s the signal path for the S37:
S37 → Strymon El Cap V1 → Iron Ether Nimbus (reverb) → FEA Labs Optifet compressor - Lehle Parallel L mixer → amp.
FWIW, none of the effects were engaged when it locked up this last time.
i experienced 3-5 times total hardware freezes. about 2-3 with the latest firmware. actually i couldn’t reproduce it. i will write when it happends again.
1-2 times it was related to a crash of the vst editor. (plugin instance did not openend anymore)
1-2 times it was related to automation recording. recording the hardware knob/button changes.
We are trying to get to a point where we have a reproducible scenario for this, please keep on reporting any similar issues here.
no freezing anymore so far. but did’t test it as intense as before.
