I’m having the most frustrating time trying to store edited changes into a new blank locating on bank 7.
I’m ready to scream.
I just recently up-graded to Version 3.1 on my Voyager AE.
The problem is this:
After modifying a preset sound I’m finding it hard to store this change (with a new name)into one of the blank spaces in B7.
First I can’t seem to get to B7 bank from the “edit – save present” menu. The +/- buttons seem to just scroll from a “P” list to a “E” list. Then as I press the enter button of course I lose the sound that I’ve edited. A simple thing like storing an edited patch into a new “open” space should not be so difficult nor should it involve so many steps.
What I’m I doing wrong. And no I’m not ready to purchase the editing software at this time.
Help Anyone. Thanks
ss
I follow what the manual says without a problem. After you make your preset, go to where you want it stored, go under Edit 1.2 (Recall last Sound), and follow the menu’s directions. After you save it, you can change the name and save it again.
This comes up quite a bit. Should be made a sticky. I forgot at one point too ![]()
+1 for sticky
Hi Steve,
The +/- buttons seem to just scroll from a “P” list to a “E” list.
The Cursor toggles “PANEL/EDIT Save”. PANEL Save means: store the sound to the actual preset number and EDIT Save means: store the sound to a location independent of the actual preset number.
I think it’s a good idea to improve the Save routine, maybe we can use the +/-1 buttons to select the bank and selecting the preset number with the ext audio pot.
