seems to be just about squared away for the Stage⦠the Tribute is presenting a couple of issues, one of which I resolved today and another Iām just coming to grips with. Should be a matter of mere weeks now, Iād say.

Any new features you care to reveal? Or is it a surprise?
I know, I should just keep my⦠Fingers⦠Inert?
I could be wrong, but likely it will be the āthenā shipping version of 3.x from the Slim. Surely Moog wants one code base across the entire line if that can be arranged.
Hop on over to the Slim Phatty Products page and have a look at the manual; there are things in there pertaining to Alternate tunings, Global control for Arp settings, what looks to be an Arp code base from the Taurus (based on what Iāve read), better support for Poly (now obviously required!) and other niceties.
Iād love to see a full featured Step Sequencer, ability to split (and send the non-local part out midi) but those are wish list items and I donāt think weāll see them anytime soon.
Any word on this update? I remember seeing a post from amos about a week ago mentioning something about an update for the stage edition little phatty being available about now. Iām really looking forward to get arp tones on my ānew to meā little phatty stage I that I recently purchased without the threat of a problem that needs debugging.
Thanks guys

aftertouch as a modulation source? o_O
I think you guys are talking about a call for features for OS4. OS3.x is down and dusted and itās minor features and bug fixes from here.
So thinking bigger, how about resurrecting the step sequencer wishlist, that would be a killer feature and not too much code required as it could use the ARP note stack. Not much memory left for new functionality so gotta narrow down to modest feature set such as:
No need to have anything fancy on display except āSTEP SEQ. RECORDā on the top line of LCD and āHold AMT to exitāā on the bottom line.
Once done, let ARP code play with ARP loop, order, clock divider settings.
IF a SKIP step is too sophisticated to code into the normal ARP play algorithm, then only allow ON notes. And it doesnāt have to be billed as a full Step sequencer but rather a Step Record mode of the ARP.
Just one more to add to the list.
Omg, if a step sequencer was added, I would be a very happy camper.
