“The editor cannot connect to hardware, please connect your synth and set midi in and out on set-up page” when running as plugin (AU&VST) @ mac os 10.3.2 & mac os 10.3.4, latest logic and live versions, ss37cv editor standalone works fine. Any solution? The plugins/editor worked before on os 10.3.2 and latest logic+live.
I upgraded to the last fw already before. I uninstalled the Editor-software & preferences, rebooted, connected the moog to a different usb-port, reinstalled the Editor software and got it working now (also the old usb-port works with it again). Probably it was an issue of the preferences i guess. I use the grey CV version.
Edit: Editor works but the old issue appears again.. asks to sync presets everytime i start the daw.
This sounds incorrect. May I Teamview your system ? please contact me directly at gil@moogmusic.com,
I’d like to confirm this is a user error (or either a bug), before releasing.
Yes, in some cases it requires a second sync. But once synced it should not ask for another GET unless the hardware presets on the Editor and Hardware don’t match.
To followup on our conversation, I have the following points, indeed, it could be in my minds for the first point :
1 - sawtooth position on the synth is not aligned with the soft, but an entire graduation. Troubling fact, it’s off on the synth, but 100% accurate on the soft. It was perfectly aligned previously (in my minds at least )
2 - I have a headphone output problem which appeared immediately after the problem. It was fully functional before (it may be an hardware problem, but the synth is 2 weeks old).
3 - midi output (usb) stops to function when the editor is started (never occured before the upgrade).
To reproduce it :
1 - start the standalone editor (cv version), mac os x 10.11.6 used. direct usb connection (no hub)
2 - start to play, with ableton monitoring midi 1
3 - after some time, no midi out
To solve the issue : have to stop both the synth and the editor.
It could be not related, and an hardware problem too by the way.
Really nice to get the editor in light gray, it’s VERY good to read.
The CV out screen, even if not used so far, is really neat, that’s too good to not have to rely on the menus.
