September 1st marks exactly one year since we started ‘SquareWave: The Voyager Resource’, and it’s time to celebrate! Stop by for some cake (you’ll have to supply your own ice cream!) and grab a few downloads!
By any measure, our first year has been a tremendous success. How successful? Consider:
Our membership has topped 400 (and includes folks from Moog Music and a few famous recording artists!)
Over 300 Voyager patches have been posted by contributing members
Over 40 Voyager-related articles have been posted
22 members have posted photos of their studios and gear
Our thanks to everyone who helped to make SquareWave the go-to Voyager site for sounds, resources and information! Our first year has truly been terrific, but the best is yet to come: stay tuned for a major announcement later this month!
In the meantime, here’s what’s new for September:

Voyager FYI Folder:
We polled our most active members and collected a series of their coolest programming ideas, techniques and performance tips for the Voyager. Learn all about them in “Hot Tips and Cool Tricks”, our anniversary present to the members of SquareWave!
Monthly Mashup Folder:
We’re literally ‘wired for sound’ this month! We combined two “Wired” patches from the Thomas Wolfe sound bank to create a new patch called “Wired Chorus Bass”.
Site Map:
As usual, updated to make everything easy to locate.
SquareWave features hundreds of terrific Voyager patches, MP3 audio clips, performance advice, suggestions, member studio photos, and related links - all free! Not a member? Go to:
Is there something inside that cake - I mean, is something going to pop out of it? Is that going to be part of the ‘big announcement’ for later in the month?
Indeed, the ‘Squarewave’ link is long dead. The Squarewave site was the original Voyager resource site, which evolved into supporting additional Moog products when Moog introduced the Little Phatty and a host of related gear follow-ons. The content that was available on the Squarewave website was merged with Moog’s ill-fated ‘MoogSpace’ website, which eventually collapsed due to problems involving financial issues. ‘KnobTweak’ was born from the ashes of these failed attempts, and remains as the the only website solely dedicated to serving the Moog community with patches, tips, tricks and ideas on Moog products. KnobTweak exists only because of the contributions of the Moog community at-large who upload their patches, ideas and support to fellow Moog enthusiasts.
Although the ‘Hot Tips and Cool Tricks’ document is no longer available, other valuable Moog-related gear information can still be found on the KnobTweak site:
