Cheers.
I see the firmware available at the site now, but as far as I can remember there was no announcement and there is still not a link available for the editor but one must suscribe in order to receive the link
My guess is most users have not noticed yet of the new firmware, and those who have, don’t have access to the new editor
Thanks for the note bichuelo. The firmware has been missed from the old website, but added back on the new website. To download the Editors, registration is still required.
I am building a map for the Shift mode functions which can be used live, and have found some problems in the documentation. Some parameters have different names along the manual, and I have found three CC numbers which the unit doesn’t seem to respond to
Fortunately a user made a very detailed report which I commented on this thread:
https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=21800
I know this is not a Firmware/Editor issue, but notetheless it is strongly related to its use. Hopefully you guys can confirm, and maybe these documents be updated accordingly?
Thanks bichuelo,
Could you send all comments to amos@moogmusic.com (CC gil@moogmusic.com) ?
I believe this would be the best way to document/follow this kind of feedback.
I had the opportunity to interact with three Sub Phatty units in the last few days.
Unfortunately, I found that the Sub Phatty Editor 2.0.0 on two of our customers’ computers is not working well. Their synths are in fine shape, and both on firmware 2.2.0
All three units (including Audiotecna’s showroom unit) make the editor installed on our computer behave as expected. This is version 2.0.0 as well, though is the one downloaded from this thread and not from Moog’s site
Their editor though, is not working as expected. The Librarian section does not work:
Everything else seems to work. Parameters have correct bi-directional communication with the synth, the rest of the GUI works as expected as well as the Preferences
The tests were done only on the stand alone version, on a computer running High Sierra and another one running Yosemite
Has anyone experienced this? Is there something that should be changed on the operating system itself in order to make it work? Is the official editor the same file we find at the beggining of this thread?
Responded on email. Most definitely an installation/setup issue.
