My Slim phatty is NOt playing nicely with my current setup. I HAVE searched and found various things to try to get the SP to act like it should.
Like…
Powering things up/plugging in Midi cables in a different order.
Disconnecting my controller and using just the mpc pads to control the SP.
Running the SP through the virus b and back to the Mpc.
Running the Factory reset and reboot.
ALL of these tthings work to fix the problem but only for a short time.
The problems I m having more specifically are with hung notes, the lights on the knobs wont track the movements when the mpc seq is running (maybe this is normal), The panel becomes unresponsive randomly and just ‘locks-up’, and theres some kind of program switching/midi feedback issue.
I really think the problem is midi feedback per what ive read due to the way the midi in/out will randomly change as will many other SP ‘master’ settings simultaneously.
Hopefully someone has some experience with the 3k and SP together, Ive searched and tried multiple things but its just not coming together…
Frustrating part is i had it working well, midi notes/ccs being recorded in the 3k seq, stacking parts with the virusB, no hanging notes, and now its just a mess…
In a perfect world I would have the midi with the virusB, SP, machine drum, DP4, and mpc 3k all working together in a nice midi loop (although i do have a midi timepiece coming soon)
