I was playing my LP and suddenly the sound changed to something very metalic and hollow (without me changing any parameters) . So I tried going back to the preset, still hollow and metallic, then I tried all the other presets, same thing !!
I don’t know what is going on. Has anyone else experienced anything like this ?
I am considering a factory restore but ???
And I was about to record something nice !
Apparently I am a baffoon. When I hit record in Ableton it created a feedback loop because I had the audio going from LP into my mixer then in on my interface while the monitoring in my record track was fed back to the same mixer. Strange but I re-routed the LP straight into the interface,unpluged the out to the mixer and the strange ultra reverb sound went away.
Glad it wasn’t something serious!
Yesterday I got a new piece of gear, plugged it in, and couldn’t get sound out of it for an hour! I read through the entire manual, was about to give up in frustration, only to find out that I hadn’t plugged in the MIDI cable…
