An idea popped into my mind recently.
Is it possible to use a computer connected via midi to the LP as a software envelope generator? For example modulating a parameter like resonance/overload/osc2waveshape (a parameted that is not possible to modulate via modulation bus) on every Note On command received from the LP when a key is played? Or is midi to slow for this? (I know there will be some latency, but is the idea worth exploring or is it completely insane?)
You should be able to do that with Numerology. I don’t have my LP at home to try it, but you would set up the following in Numerology:
MIDI-to-CV from the MIDI processing panel
Envelope from the CV Gen panel
CC Gen from the CV Gen panel
You’d patch MIDI in to the MIDI-to-CV module, patch the gate out to the gate in on the Envelope module, and patch the CV out to CV in on the CC Gen panel. Then you’d send the CC signal back to the Moog on using whatever CC you wish to control.

or you could try Silentway VST
