Hi!
Can anybody recommend a good, padded Softcase for my Minimoog Model D 2016? I have a solid Thon hardcase, but I’m looking for something lighter for external rehearsals. The Moog SR case seems nice but the price is pretty hefty. Does anybody know if the Mono Case Pro pedalboard bag would fit? Dimension-wise it should, although its depth is a little bit too short. Thanks! Peter
The Analog Cases Sustain case for the Sequential Pro 3 works for a Minimoog Model D. It is a perfect fit but a bit snug, so you have to slide the Moog into the case slowly to not snag the corners.
The Analog Cases Sustain cases are semi-rigid, similar to the Moog soft case, but I think a better design regarding pockets, they come with some internal loose pads to adjust for different synths (not needed for the Model D in this case), and are backpack case. The Sustain cases are about $80 cheaper than the Moog SR case.
Unfortunately, I just checked their website, and I don’t see the Sequential Pro 3 case listed anymore.
Thanks for sharing this.. It’s great to hear that the Analog Cases Sustain case works so well for the Minimoog Model D, especially with the added convenience of the backpack design and extra pockets. The fact that it’s $80 cheaper than the Moog SR case is a solid bonus too. Too bad the Sequential Pro 3 case is no longer available, but this is still really helpful info for anyone looking for a quality case option..
