I’d like to use an external tempo synced delay for the Slim Phatty in a live environment. We don’t sync to click as a band. I’d like to use the tap tempo in the Phatty to control LFO modulation, and to concurrently control the timing of the delay EFX through MIDI. The device in question receives midi clock.
As I understand it, the Slim Phatty allows tap tempo (using the conveniently placed LFO rate button) to send Midi clock. This seems like a convenient and common application, since live performers often sync effects and lfo modulations.
Does MIDI clock get sent when the Phatty’s arpeggiator is not engaged? Or is it sent only when the arpeggio is activated?
