Slim Phatty problem, update failed, crashed

Ok, so I just bought a Slim Phatty last week and was really happy with it, until yesterday. It crashed while I was recording and now, when I turn it on, it says Slim Phatty Boot v1.1, checksum failure, erasing flash, check for usb module, please send firmware. If I do try to send the latest firmware via PhattyLoader (I tried with both Usb and Midi) it just starts blinking, and then it reboots. Same thing if I hold down Master while I turn it on. I’ve tried changing packet size and timing interval in PhattyLoader, but nothing helps.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Is there a way to reset everything?

Did you buy it new in a store? If so, just bring it back under warranty. Looks like a defective flash memory chip. I could be wrong, but it happens.

Those SP seem pretty cheap, both ways. :unamused:
