Slim Phatty - Oberhiem OB8 midi merge

Just at a studio that doesn’t have midi inputs, just USB…

Trying to hook up our Oberheim to receive midi signals from the computer via the phatty

Computer > USB > Phatty > DIN > Oberheim

I have Phatty midi merge: USB in - Din out

but the Oberheim isn’t picking up the signal..

Is there anything else I need to do to implement this? Or something Im missing?

Really hope to get the Oberheim working, otherwise it’s Dave Smith to the finish line.

thought i’d give this a little bump..

still can’t see why USB midi in info won’t merge to DIN midi out cable to trigger the Oberheim..
