Signature Edition, maybe shouldn't have updated to 3.5?

Hey Guys,

Haven’t updated my Signature Edition Voyager since original purchase (bought new when they came out).

Tried to follow instructions, but I didn’t get the prompts outlined in the instructions. (which bank when)

I seemed to have made it through, but now my touch pad isn’t functioning.
(checked local control setting to see it ‘on’ with everything else)

Should I have not upgraded?

Is there a way to get the old software?

Mark

Hi Mark,
check the software version in the MASTER menu.
Maybe you updated the RME version instead the regular Voyager version.

Rudi

I checked. It all seems correct.
I even tried the 3.6 version, which is now what’s on there.

System Version 3.6
Release 6/13/2015
Boot Version 3.6
www.moogmusic.com

That’s what the screen shows in Master Menu - Software Version

Touch Screen still has no response.

Hi Mark,
on my Windows computer MIDIOX is running and I can see controller values when I’m touching the surface.
Do you have a MIDI monitor on your computer where you can see MIDI activities?

Rudi

Installed a basic midi monitor and nothing from touch screen is showing up.

Keys, knobs, wheels, etc… all show midi data.

Touch Screen seems dead.

I’ve been emailing Nate back & forth in Asheville as well.

I’m back on v3.5, verified software is loaded properly.
Did a factory reset.
Even opened it up to check for a potential ribbon cable out of place (all seems fine).

The unit has remained in my control room for years without being moved.

Version 3.6? I thought 3.5 was the current version.

So did I…
