shift editor of envelopes in Sub 37

Hey i’m intrigued by the DELAY HOLD VEL AMT KBD TRACK options for both the Filter and Amplitude envelopes.

I’m not familiar with how this works in the sub phatty but i understand there was a ‘shift’ function which made this work.

how would this work in the sub 37 - what would you need to press to activate these options, and what would the effects be of each of these options?
i’m just trying ot imagine the workflow of using them, this is the most crucial aspect of the synth for me.
but then they may not be features i think i’ll use very often in which case i just need it to be easy enough to remember once every 6 months.

about to put my down payment in tomorrow. wish these things didn’t get so expensive outside the United States though.

I’m just guessing but there is a button in between the EG knobs on a row with labels for DELAY, HOLD, VEL AMT, and KB TRACK. I would think that pressing this button puts the filter knobs into shift mode. Much easier than the Sub.

cool i guess that makes sense. i look forward to some moog videos that will go through these features in depth

I don’t believe there’s anything new here compared to the Sub Phatty except for dedicated panel buttons for these filter features.

Now all we need is motorized knobs.

Actually light indicators to see setting of each knob would be more useful ala the LP

I guess rotary encoders are probably cheaper than motorized knobs. But why more useful? I like the tactile feedback of reaching the min or max value.

The Little Phatty doesn’t have encoders but limited range knobs

Ah, I see.

Well… it’s more like:

30% more knobs
50% more keys
100% more buttons
LCD Screen with Preset Names
Arpeggiator plus Step Recording
2 Separate Modulation Sections w/3 Bi-Polar Amounts each
256 Preset Locations
Mute Buttons for Osc, Noise, Ext In
Latch On Buttons for Filter and Amp Envelopes
Looping VCF and VCA Envelopes can now Sync to Clock
Pre-Filter Audio Feedback Loop
Mute Button for Main Output
Aftertouch
and Duo Mode Paraphonic capability…

But yes, other than that, there’s nothing much new there
