Shalamar sound ?

Hello,

For several nights now, I’ve been torturing myself looking for the sound of a bass line, A Night To Remember by the band Shalamar…
Is this sound feasible with a S
tage II LP (and maybe some effects in addition) ?
Would you have some advices to help me to find this sound ?

The bass sound sounds to me either like from a Yamaha DX7 or it’s just heavily post-processed with effects like Chorus. I suggest you try to create simple Bass Sound sounding as close as possible and then experimenting with a Chorus effect.
