Sub 37 Editor v1.0.1rc3 (release candidate) is now available to test, fixing synchronization issues in High Sierra (no Windows version included).
Although officially for Sub 37, this version should also work with Subsequent 37 and Subsequent 37 CV. It’s highly important that all OSX users of both Sub 37, Subsequent 37 and Subsequent 37 CV, download, install and use it, as it may introduce new issues which aren’t High Sierra specific.
Once installed, please let us know how it works for you.
I’m still holding back upgrading to High Sierra on my main music mac, but gave the 1.0.1rc3 editor a spin on my 10.13.2 High Sierra MacBook Pro. I’ve up- and downloaded some patches, tweaked the settings on the editor and the Sub 37. No issues so far.
I’ve been using it as a VST plugin in Ableton Live 9.7.5 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 for past few days. I haven’t run into problems so far, but haven’t put it through many hoops yet. I’ll be automating / rendering this week. Anything we should be on lookout for?
Testing automation would be great. Apart of that, just about anything which comes to mind. We’re testing for regression, so all areas should be ideally covered,
Tried this version on 10.12.6 mac mini. No problems there. I even noticed better connection behaviour, as the earlier version would sometimes show ‘Disconnected’ is I started the editor after powering up the Sub 37. That seems to have improved.
Will try the AU plugin from Logic later this week.
