hello - new member here - I have been restoring a mini moog D (1976) for sometime now. I have replaced all the key bushings and also had taken the keys all off and made them “white” (but now they went back to some yellow LOL) - I was having that wild “runaway” sound due to bad contact on dirty buss-bar, but just recently (and very gently) cleaned every key spring and buss bar with a small dental brush and tarnish remover. That seems to have cured the problem . All potentiometers seem ok with an occasional bad spot here and there (will be replacing the resonance pot) . I am an BSEE, so no stranger to a soldering iron LOL. Do you think I should re-cap this? - it plays well, but worry about eventual issues - where would the best place be for parts like this? - thanks in advance
